Cathedral Hills Trails is a popular place for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking. Off of Williams Highway, it is close to town and has a nice system of trails that wander through scenic hills. There are three entrances to the trail heads, the main one with the most parking is on Esprey Lane, behind the golf course.
For the geocaching enthusiast, it also has about a dozen hidden geocaches. We used both a handheld GPS unit and a smart phone with the geocaching app.
We went out on a nice day in February. One cache was hidden in this old tree stump.
I'm looking forward to getting back over to Cathedral Hills this Spring for the wildflowers. I never get tired of wandering here.
