Nifty 50+ is Disbanding

Please be advised that Nifty 50+ is disbanding and will no longer be meeting for brunch.  All future events have been cancelled. 

Hike and Lunch at Hong Kong Restaurant

Due to logging activities by the BLM in Cathedral Hills, the Sky Crest Trail hike scheduled for this Thursday (May 24th) has been canceled. 

Our next luncheon will be on Thursday, May 31st, at the Hong Kong Restaurant at 11:30 am.  The address is 820 N.E. 6th Street.  Please R.S.V.P. so I can give the restaurant a headcount.

Please note that to RSVP hit "Reply", not "Reply All" so that your message goes only to me and not everyone on the email list (I have been getting some complaints about this). THANKS!

Walk the Sky Crest Trail this Thursday, May 24th, 10 am - 11:30 am.

This will be a warm day, perfect for a late morning hike on the back side of Cathedral Hills.

Skycrest Trail is a 1.6 mile loop trail which features a great forest setting. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for hiking, mountain biking, trail running, and horseback riding.

Directions: From 6th Street, take Williams Hwy (Hwy 238) to Harbeck Road and turn left. Continue on Harbeck Road to S.E. Grandview Ave., and turn left. Continue on Harbeck Road to Sky Way and turn right. Proceed up Sky Way. Near the top of the hill, there will be a "T" intersection, bear to the left. You will see the trailhead parking area on your right.
